... Version 3.5

What's New in version 3.5...

Session Overlap Management

TimeCore Pro 3.5 introduces a new session management sub-system. This initial version is able to resolve conflicts between overlapping sessions by adjusting the start and end times of existing sessions or even splitting a session in half. By default, TimeCore will ask you what to do on saving a new session which overlaps an existing one. You can change this option via the session drop down menu (see above) using the right mouse button.

Overlap Options

PROMPT
TimeCore will always ask you what to do when it detects an overlap.

AUTO-OVERLAP
Basically, tells TimeCore to bypass the overlap detection system and just save the session.

AUTO-RESIZE
TimeCore will automatically adjust the Start and End times of existing sessions.

Splitting Sessions
In the case where a new session occurs within the period of an existing session, you will have the option of splitting the session in half. For example, Amir initially books a session of time from 09:00 to 14:00 (2 PM) with a full blown account of what he was doing in the Details field. Later he realizes that he should have booked the daily progress meeting that occurred between 10:00 and 11:00. Now with version 3.5, on saving the new 10:00 to 11:00 session, TimeCore will split the existing session into one 09:00 to 10:00 session and a 11:00 to 14:00 slot retaining all associated data.

Timeline

Timeline: visualize sessions of booked time...

An optional 24 hour timeline can now be displayed showing visually the relationship between sessions of time booked on any particular day. Includes an optional 24 hour and 12 hour axis. A right mouse click on the timeline itself will display a menu with options to toggle the visibility of each axis. The timeline can be hidden by using the appropriate option in the General Settings page of Administration via the main View->Administration menu option.
